Info | Carter, 55, is a graduate of Dalhousie University with a degree in the Social Sciences. In the late 1980's he founded Metro Community Living Support Services Ltd., a housing support program for mentally ill persons.
In 1995, he embarked upon a 5 year qualifying program that would entitle him to be designated a Private Practitioner. This designation was awarded in September/2001 with the area of specialization noted as Mental Health.
In addition to his dedication to coaching little league softball, Randy is a Commissioner of Oaths and helps to publish a popular community paper, The Eastern Shore Observer.
A long-time community activist, Randy often finds fault with the way municipal and provincial governments operate. Many times he has seen the voice of the people ignored by self-serving politicians, and has on many occasions, used his newspaper, the Eastern Shore Observer, to rant against inefficient bureaucracies.
“I’m running in this political race to give the Government back to the working People, taking it back from big business and bureaucrats”, states Carter.
Randy, together with family, make Jeddore, of the pristine Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, home.
