Lived in Cincinnati OH c. 1926-c. 1960. Engineer with the Ohio Dept. of Highways, 1933-41. Editor, "The State Employee," 1937-38. Served on the Ohio State Highway Recodification Cmsn., the State Housing Board, and the Rural Zoning Cmsn (the latter 1947-51). Instructor in embryology and comparative anatomy at the Univ of Cincinnati; owned Shelton Flying Service and set the world solo flying record for the first solo day in the air. Hired by AT&T in 1954 and held several posts in the company.
Lived in Hanover Twp., NJ, c. 1960-1967. Transferred here while working for AT&T. Chairman of the Hanover Twp Sewerage Authority, 1961-66.
