| Info | Joseph Oddo, a self-employed freelance writer and sales consultant has been involved in several political campaigns starting with Anderson for President in 1980. He has been a candidate for the state General Assembly both as a Republican and an Independent. Now he is the Independent Green Party nominee to challenge Tom Davis for the 11th District Congressional seat.
Qualifications:
Mr. Oddo has been an activist on and off for 20 plus years. Currently he is on the steering committee for the Fairfax Bill of Rights Coalition and has developed the Web site for the group www.usbillofrights.org.
He is also web developer for the Kent Mesplay for President campaign www.presidentkent.org.
Previously he was working as the volunteer District Director for the Americans for Fair Taxation, the grassroots organization endorsing the FairTax: www.fairtax.org.
He has a Public Policy degree from Penn State, and is working on a manuscript aimed at getting people more involved in politics.
