Assemblyman Quinn brings a wealth of government and legal knowledge with him to the Assembly. As a former prosecutor with the Erie County District Attorney�s office, Assemblyman Quinn brought numerous criminals to justice, garnering an impressive record of convictions in Buffalo�s city courts. His position as an Assistant District Attorney has given Assemblyman Quinn the experience and knowledge to strengthen laws to keep our communities safe from criminals.

While in law school, Assemblyman Quinn worked at various law firms in the Buffalo and Washington, DC area, researching and writing on a variety of issues including labor, the environment, crime and the military. Additionally, Assemblyman Quinn interned in the Washington, DC office of Congressman James Walsh where he focused on constituent, lobbyist and citizen action relations.

Prior to his employment in the District Attorney�s office, Assemblyman Quinn also served with the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research.

Assemblyman Quinn earned his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he graduated with honors, and a B.A. from Siena College. While in law school, he was selected for the prestigious National Trial Team.

Active within his community, Assemblyman Quinn is a member of the St. Francis High School Alumni Association, the University of Buffalo Law School Alumni Association, the Erie County and the New York State Bar Associations, Ducks Unlimited and St. Mary of the Lake Church.

While serving his district, Assemblyman Quinn intends to fight for resources that will better equip New York�s law enforcement officers to protect citizens from violence.

A lifelong resident of Erie County, Assemblyman Quinn currently resides in Hamburg, NY.
