Info | Ralph "Shorty" Price ran for many political offices in Alabama!
In 1973 he wrote and had published a book entitled Alabama Politics-Tell it Like It Is-. "Shorty was from Barbour County and attended the University of Alabama. He ran for many offices. Many times he would strike through a poster for Governor and write Congress on it. "Shorty"Price loved Tampa Nuggett Cigars and was a "loyal" University of Alabama Fan. The only race he ever won was that of an alternate delegate to the 1952 Democratic National Convention. If you ever had the good fortune to encounter "candidate" or "fan" "Shorty" Price maybe you will appreciate the picture of "candidate" Price at the Inauguration of Governor George C. Wallace in 1975.
