| Info | Steve Zorn is an economist who studied international finance abroad in the Netherlands. Graduated from the University of Louisville with a finance degree. Operating as a financial consultant, Steve has helped to set up and start many local Colorado businesses. Previously he worked with Vail Resorts in the accounting dept. Steve volunteers with Friends of Red Rocks, and has been committed to cleaning up the front range community since 2013. Community organizing for a non-profit in his spare time, Steve strides to better the local water supply and protect the headwaters in Colorado, with an organization known as Clean Water Action.
Originally from the Midwest, Steve found his home in Adams County. After travelling throughout Europe, and many US states Colorado called his name loudest. He assembled a team of friends and took to making this place, his space. Involving himself in the community and embracing the changes which needed attention. Steve looks forward to handling the task of improving the education system in Colorado, along with finding new ways to increase free summer school lunch programs.
Topics which motivate Steve include holding corporations accountable for damage done to our ecosystem, campaign finance reform, advocacy of human rights, improving statewide infrastructure, and improving the market for local Colorado agriculture. These together with education reform represent the platform of Steve Zorn.
