Info | As a young boy in rural Georgia, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be Billy Graham or Ronald Reagan when I grew up. Eventually I decided to pursue ministry. I graduated college while working with Youth for Christ and then after Bible school I pastored a church at the age of 25. In 2010, a huge earthquake killed thousands of people in Haiti and my wife and I stepped out of pastoring and into missions work. Since then, God has blessed us to be able to help hundreds of orphans receive Christmas gifts and bring good news to thousands in Haiti while basing our operation and family in the US.
After a period of prayer and consideration, I have decided that politics and the ministry can work together. I have decided to run for US Congress. The path up until now is not a common one. Trips to obscure parts of Haiti do not help with name recognition here in the States. Most politicians become lawyers or start a business before becoming a candidate, but right now politics as usual and the establishment mentality are not getting the job done in Washington. I have come to the place where I believe we must stand up and speak out for our country and beliefs or risk losing the things that have made us a great nation.
