InfoGlen and his wife Lori live in Chesterfield with their four beautiful children, Ethan, Reed, Emily, and Noah all of whom Glen and Lori have been blessed to adopt. Glen and Lori have been happily married for 19 years.

Growing up in a middle class home in rural Spotsylvania County, Glen learned the value of hard work while working through high school at his neighborhood grocery store. Involved in Scouting, Glen learned the importance of community service and servant leadership while earning his Eagle Scout.

Glen met his wife, Lori, in college where they were college sweethearts. Lori, a school teacher, then put Glen through law school at George Mason’s Antonin Scalia School of Law, where he served as an editor for the law school’s legal journal and prosecuted crimes in the local Commonwealth Attorney’s office.

After school, Glen and Lori started raising their family in Richmond. As they began adopting their four beautiful children, Glen got involved in working to improve Richmond Public Schools. He helped lead the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation, a non-profit focused on working with the private sector to support educational excellence in the school system.

Having seen first-hand the challenges families face in Richmond schools, Glen was elected to the Richmond School Board by focusing on commonsense education reform, increased accountability, and fiscal responsibility.

On the School Board, Glen led the efforts to audit every department of Richmond Public Schools and to post the school system’s check register online so that taxpayers can see exactly where their dollars are spent. Most importantly, Glen led the effort to move Richmond Public Schools to a zero-based budget. Just like the private sector, the school system should justify how taxpayer dollars are spent to ensure they are directed to the classroom, not expanding bureaucracy.

After serving on the School Board, Glen was elected to the Virginia Senate in 2015. In the General Assembly, Glen fought to audit state government and to get Virginia on a zero-based budget. He fought to lower taxes and to protect our God-given Second Amendment rights, the unborn, our right to freedom of speech, and the integrity of our elections.

As a practicing attorney, Glen represents veterans and their family members all over the country and around the world and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by his peers. Glen led the effort to provide pro bono legal services to survivors of natural disasters, mass emergencies, and terrorist attacks across the Commonwealth.

Glen and Lori have been married for almost 20 years, and their most fulfilling responsibility is raising their four children: Ethan, Reed, Emily, and Noah.
