As a daughter of a diplomat, I was born in a Catholic hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. My sister and I were raised by our parents inside diplomatic compounds within China where one of my fondest memories was July 4th with George Herbert Walker Bush, hot dogs, and Coca-Cola.
After my father’s assignment to China ended, we returned to Iran in 1978. The revolution proved unsafe for us, and my family left on one of the last flights out of Teheran before the airports were shut down. We settled in Memphis, Tennessee for a few years, where my sister and I attended St. Mary’s Episcopal School, only to relocate to Orange County where I graduated from Laguna Hills High School and then UC Irvine. I have lived and worked in Orange County for 33 years and have been a lifelong Republican.
I served as Deputy Campaign Manager for the Committee to Re-Elect Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and currently serve as one of his district representatives in the 48th Congressional district office.
