Info | Karen Sealy Garcia is a licensed certified public accountant and has been a CPA in management positions for 30 years. Last year she took an early retirement following a successful career of over 26 years with Weyerhaeuser Company. She was a go-to person in the Fortune 500 Company to ensure financial systems and controls were properly implemented and operating. Karen served in the chief financial position for various divisions and operations and was responsible for multi-million dollar budgets and has extensive supervisory and management experience.
Elected in 2010, she is serving her 4th year on the City of Hot Springs Board of Directors, a non-partisan board that approves the city’s budget and policies, among other responsibilities. Karen Sealy Garcia is a Certified Municipal Official through the Arkansas Municipal League.
Karen and her husband, Jorge, live in Hot Springs.
