Info | Chris is a native Texan who grew up in Houston. After graduation from high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he served his country and carried out a distinguished career until his retirement in 1995.
Since his retirement, he has served in the private sector as a schoolteacher, and in the business sector in the aerospace industry.
Chris received a Bachelors Degree from Wayland Baptist University and a Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
He is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Public Policy.
Chris is also the President of a non-profit corporation dedicated to educating and mentoring community leaders, youth, and faith-based organizations on issues of governance and public policy based on biblical principles.
Chris is a compassionate conservative who believes in shaping public policy based on the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and Christian values. Chris champions community involvement, restoring ethics in government, and holding elected officials accountable.
Chris is married to the former Roslyn Brathwaite of Barbados. They have three children; Christopher, BreAnna, and Brian. They attend an interdenominational, multicultural church where Chris serves as an Elder.
Chris stands for family values and cultural inclusion for all races for the people of District 28. His campaign outlines comprehensive proposals to improve public schools through school choice. He believes accurate representation is needed for our active-duty, and retired, guard and reserve veterans by improving pay and available military healthcare. He wants to serve the people of the district through his support of lower taxes, faith-based initiatives, limited government, a strong military, incentive based immigration, school choice, and a personal responsibility approach to government programs. Chris believes the people of District 28 deserve a leader that accurately represents them in the areas of raising standards, strengthening family values, providing greater support for our military, strengthening Social Security and Medicare, and providing affordable healthcare.
