| Info | Bryan is a life-long and active resident of the 11th District and works as an attorney at a law firm in Wilmington.
One of four sons to a retired Newark police officer and a Delaware public school teacher, and engaged to a former public school teacher, Bryan grew up in Breezewood off of Chestnut Hill Road and then Westover Woods on Old Baltimore Pike. He attended Christina School District schools—Cobbs Elementary, Stubbs Elementary, Gauger Middle, and Glasgow High. Bryan completed undergraduate degrees and a graduate degree at the University of Delaware. He studied Chinese language, politics, and economics for two years at the University of Cambridge in England and Peking University in Beijing, China. Bryan then completed a law degree at Yale Law School.
Bryan is an active member of the Newark/Bear community. He has been a supporter and volunteer with Special Olympics Delaware for the past thirteen years, and was a member of the marching band in the 1998 and 1999 DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star games. Bryan is a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware. From 1998 to 2004, nearly each week Bryan played bingo with the residents of Little Sisters of the Poor on Salem Church Road. In high school, Bryan worked at the Newark Dairy Queen, and in college he worked at MBNA in Ogletown and at Christiana Care in Wilmington.
Through his legal work, Bryan serves several communities in Delaware. Bryan practices at the Morris James law firm in Wilmington, where he focuses on corporate and commercial disputes in the Delaware Court of Chancery. Before joining Morris James, Bryan focused on administrative law and unclaimed property, and served as a law clerk for the Court of Chancery. Bryan also uses his legal training to help children in Delaware’s foster care system, veterans who are seeking benefits for service-related injuries, and low-income families in divorce, custody, and protection-from-abuse cases.
