| Info | * Ron Bhalla was born in 1947 in India. He graduated from Punjab University {India} with a major in political science.
* Ron worked in India as a sales manager with an American based Company. His wife was a college professor teaching economics at Baring Union Christian College.
* Ron and his family moved to the state of California (U.S.A.) in 1979. He worked with The Bank of America. Soon, with courage, he began his own business operating a service station. In 1985 he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife and two sons. Here he began a successful food distribution business. He and his wife worked long and hard in this business.
Ron's oldest son is a Medical Doctor married to a State Defense Attorney from the United States. His second (youngest) son is currently a student in Dental school.
At the present, Ron is operating a real estate investment company in Chattanooga, TN. This company of thirteen years is located near Red Bank, TN.
* As a civic-minded individual, Ron enjoyed being President of the India Association. During the time he was President he involved his community in work with Habitat for Humanity, the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, local blood donation drives, and much more.
* Ron's good friend, General Bill Rains introduced Ron to politics nine years ago in 2002. With much enthusiasm, Ron took great interest in the American political system. He worked within campaigns for Senatorial and Gubernatorial races. He was campaign Chairman for the Asian-Indian Community when Lamar Alexander ran for State Senator. Ron has gained political positions such as precinct chairman and Vice President of The Hamilton County Pachyderm Club. Of note is the recent nomination of Ron for the National Award of The Daughters of The American Revolution.
* Ron has been greatly influenced by reading books by the following, and other, great authors : Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Dr. Robert Schuller, Napoleon Hill, Anthony Robin and Sam Walton.
* Heritage Christian Church is where Ron was introduced to the Christian faith and was baptized there. He confidently asserts that while he is from India, he has full faith in Christianity. Christian Heritage Church is in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
