|Info||Dr. Jack Rushin is a graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, MO and attended Southeast Missouri State University for his Chiropractic pre-requisite education. He then attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1980. Jack practiced in Cape Girardeau and Puxico Missouri before he and his wife Teresa moved to Poplar Bluff, Missouri in 1988. He and his wife have two children. Dr. Rushin maintains his Chiropractic practice in Poplar Bluff as well as a rental property investment company. |
Since graduating from Chiropractic College Jack has devoted much of his life to his profession through his private practice and years of service to the Missouri State Chiropractic Association (MSCA) and the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners (MSBCE). When Jack served with the MSCA he held many positions of leadership as well as chairperson for many committees. His experience as chairman of the Insurance, Legal and Legislative committees were invaluable in understanding elements of government, rules, regulations and statutes. Dr. Rushin’s knowledge of health care, managed care and Medicare gives him a unique understanding of the nation's health care reform concerns. Dr. Rushin has worked on Missouri State Laws for Chiropractic patient access to hospital inpatient and outpatient services as well as the Missouri Physician Lien Law. Dr. Rushin has also gone to Washington D.C. on patient rights and Medicare issues.
Jack’s experience in his rental property business gives him additional insight into private business needs and the economics that affect a broad spectrum of the public.
Jack has been active in his local community and has worked with youth groups in the area, he has also coached youth soccer, wrestling, baseball and softball teams. Jack is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. He is also a member of the Masons and is an advisor to the local DeMolay Chapter.
