| Info | Sheriff Robert L. “Bob” Crowder began his law enforcement career working as a dispatcher for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office in 1965. In 1968, Crowder became a patrolman for the Stuart Police Department. In 1969, he was appointed as the first detective in the history of the city and implemented their criminal records and identification files.
Bob Crowder served as undersheriff for 8 years in St. Lucie County before serving as Sheriff of Martin County for the past 20 years. Bob Crowder has deep roots in our community. He has lived in Martin County for the past 53 years. He is married to his wife Debbie and has four children and 6 grandchildren.
Bob Crowder knows our issues and has a history of public service working for the residents of District 18. Today Bob Crowder is running for Congress to serve as the voice for the residents of District 18 in Washington.
