Jay Jordan, Jr., 31, was born and raised in Florence and is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the Charleston School of Law. A conservative who believes in limited government and limited terms for those who serve, Jay will fight to cut spending and balance the federal budget.

about-jayJay is a small business owner and places jobs at the top of his agenda. Jay will work to get government off the backs of small businesses (that account for 7 out of every 10 jobs in the United States) and get the economy back on track by fighting against taxes, borrowing and spending.

Jordan practices law in the Pee Dee area and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. He has served as chairman of the Florence County Election Commission and Voter Registration Board. He is a member of the Florence Baptist Temple where he teaches Sunday School.

Jay and his wife, Tara, have three children: Wallace, Lana Claire and William Monroe.
