| Info | The daughter of Dutch immigrants, Elizabeth Roy learned a strong work ethic at an early age. A medical professional by training, Elizabeth completed her education at Cancer Care Ontario/Princess Margaret Hospital in Radiation Therapy. She currently works at Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Elizabeth was first elected in 1997 as School Board Trustee for Durham District School Board, where she witnessed the consequences of destructive PC education policies firsthand. In 2006, she was elected to Whitby Town Council and was re-elected in 2010. Elizabeth is married to Robert. They are the proud parents of Joseph, Elise, and Sarah.
