| Info | Born in New Hebron, Cindy is the daughter of a small business owner who taught her the importance of fiscal responsibility, leadership, and community service. Her commitment to a vibrant Mississippi economy founded upon job growth and education has developed from her long association and service in the state. Bryan graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1983 and has been a practicing dental hygienist for 27 years. Her husband of 25 years, Scott R. Bryan, is Technical Manager at Solen, Inc., and has served for 25 years in the U.S. Navy, both in active duty and as a reservist. Their two daughters attend school, one at Mississippi State University and the other at Lawrence County High School.
Bryan brings critical skills and management experience to the job. She has served in municipal government for eight years, four as Alderwoman and four as mayor. Along the way she has proven her ability to obtain resources, such as $2 million in grants for New Hebron, as well as proven leadership during Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.
