| Info | Joan is a life long resident of Saint Louis. She attended elementary school in the City of Saint Louis and graduated from Southwest High School. She obtained a Journalism Degree from Mizzou, and a Masters Degree from Saint Louis University in Urban Planning. Joan also earned a Masters Certificate in Gerontology from UMSL. She worked in management for Southwestern Bell and EDS. She was elected to the Webster Groves City Council and twice elected to the Webster Groves School Board. She served a term on the Saint Louis County Planning Commission. Joan has been active on several governmental and civic boards as a member or director. She has been a Sunday School teacher and a mentor to elementary students in the Saint Louis City School System. Joan has been married to Jim for 28 years. They have two daughters Veronica and Melissa.
