InfoRichard Bruton is the current Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and will be contesting the election in the newly formed Dublin Bay North constituency. He won his seat in Dublin North-East for the first time in 1982 and has subsequently retained it at every asking since. Mr Bruton has also served as a Senator for a time in the 80’s. He was Deputy leader of Fine Gael between 2002-10 before being replaced by James Reilly after famously challenging Enda Kenny for leadership in 2010. Mr Bruton and his wife Susan Meehan have four children. He enjoys running, swimming, cycling, cooking and music.
