| Info | Representing the constituency of Wicklow, Andrew Doyle (55) was first elected to Dáil Eireann in 2007 with 10.7 pc first preference votes. He is currently the Chairman of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine. When first elected the father-of-four was named as Fine Gael’s Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Food and Horticulture In 2010, he was promoted to the opposition frontbench as the spokesperson for Agriculture. He was previously a member of Wicklow County Council from 1999-2007 and was Cathaoirleach (Chairperson) of Wicklow from 2005 to 2006. The 55-year-old still runs the family farm in County Wicklow which has been in his family for six generations.
