InfoStephen Yellin is a lifelong resident of Berkeley Heights, and a proud graduate of our public school system. A graduate of Drew University with a B.A. in History, he is currently completing his Masters’ degree in Communications and Information Studies(M.C.I.S.) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

As a candidate for Berkeley Heights Township Council in 2011, Yellin was the top Democratic vote-getter in the general election, earning bi-partisan support from residents and running significantly ahead of the other Democratic nominees on the ballot.

He remains an active resident in the community as a member of the Berkeley Heights Historical Society and Stop The BAC, among others.

Yellin was originally elected to the Union County Democratic Committee in 2007, and is currently Secretary of the Berkeley Heights Democratic Committee.
