Brandegee; reelected to the Sixtieth, Sixty-first, and Sixty-second Congresses and served from October 2, 1905, to March 3, 1913; was not a candidate for renomination in 1912; resumed the practice of law; served in the Connecticut State National Guard during the First World War; prosecuting attorney, Court of Common Pleas, New London County, Conn., 1932-1946; resumed the general practice of law; died in Norwich, Conn., September 24, 1954; interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
