Yes I am here to blast my own whistle.
The policies of Port Security are virtually non-existant.
The United States Maritime Industry is being systematically dismantled since "The Reagan Era".
With a strong Merchant Marine carrying more than 3% of our import / export cargo we might be able to increase our intelligence gathering resources by having well educated, high skilled, high paid, Maritime officers and crew on American flag ships in ports around the world moving around virtually un-noticed by the local community chating and watching as the eyes and ears of America.
