| Info | Director Bob Vanderslice is a resident of Pennsville serving his second term as Freeholder. He currently serves as the Director of the Freeholder Board, Chairman of Administrative Committee and Health & Human Services Committee, and in addition to being a member on the Community Services and Public Safety Committees. Director Vanderslice was born and raised in Salem County, graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School and attended Goldey-Beacom Business College. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsville National Bank and Vice President of Penn Bancshares, Inc. He served a three year term on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and past President of the Southern New Jersey Freeholders’ Association. Locally, he chaired the Salem County Chamber of Commerce board of directors in 2005, served on the boards of the Salem Community College Foundation, and the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. In addition, he was past chairman of the Salem County Technical & Vocational School Advisory Board. Director Vanderslice is active in the Sharptown United Methodist Church where he serves as lay leader and teaches an adult Sunday School Class. He also is a member in the Rotary Club of Penns Grove. Director Vanderslice was honored with the Old Colony District Good Scout Award in 2004 and was Salem County Citizen of the Year in 2009. Bob is married to Cookie and is blessed with a daughter Amber and son-in-law Mark, as well as, son Adam, daughter-in-law Heather, and grandsons Grayson and Parker.
