| Info | The above quote is one that I live by everyday. Our country, state, and city each represent a great place to live thanks to many people who have dedicated their lives to making our land a better place for all. It is a singular honor to work on improving the daily life of our neighbors.
You know better then anyone that local organizations such as our community boards, civic associations, and political clubs have had significant positive impact on our community. Having served as a leader in these organizations, the time has come for me to step forward and take on another role. I have therefore today filed the necessary paper work to run for Democratic District Leader in the 60th Assembly District in my home community of Bay Ridge.

Many have asked me: "As you are involved in so many other things, why are you running for this unpaid position?" My answer is Edison's quote (see above).
We are facing difficult times with double-digit unemployment and it is critical that we think about the future for our community. The leaders of tomorrow need to be the leaders of today.
The road ahead will be long and sometimes painful. I shall need your help to knock on doors, make phone calls, and carry petitions. Please talk to your friends and neighbors and help me raise money.
