InfoMy wife and I have lived in Pike Township for 30 years where we raised our four children. I am a graduate of Boyertown High School - Class of ’78.

In December of 2009 I completed my four year term as School Director in the Oley Valley School District. I have been active civically most of my adult life; this includes being a member of the Victory Mile new track committee at Boyertown School District, an American Cancer Society Relay For Life Team Captain, member of several area sports clubs and associations, and serving as a PIAA official which allowed me to work with high school students and parents all across Berks County.

As a self employed carpenter for the past twenty-five years, I have seen the effects of this down economy and the hindrances and over regulation government has created that slow job growth.

Background: Boyertown High School graduate; worked for different companies in construction before starting his own business 23 years ago; currently specializes in home renovations and remodeling, including project management; owns home ventilation system distributorship; member of Boyertown High School Victory Mile Committee; served four years on Oley Valley School Board; former student activities chairman, Oley Valley School District; and 2008 captain for Relay for Life cancer fundraiser in Boyertown.
