| Info | Rep. Tommie Pierson, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 69) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Pierson is the Pastor at the Greater St. Mark Family Church. He also worked for General Motors as an assembly worker for 32 years.
Rep. Pierson serves on the Riverview Gardens School Board and is involved with the Citizens for Modern Transit. In addition, he participated in the 2008-2009 Focus St. Louis Leadership Program. Rep. Pierson has received the Interfaith Award from Mohammed Mosque #28 in January 2003, Outstanding Community Development Award in 2005, the North County Builders Award in 2006, and the Advisory Committee for I-64 Project Award.
Rep. Pierson is a 1965 graduate of Beaumont High School.
Born January 29, 1946 in Ripley, Tennessee, Rep. Pierson currently resides in Bellefontaine Neighbors with his wife, JoAnn. They have three children, Linell Green, Tommie Pierson Jr. and Layina Draper.
