Clayton also lived and studied in Mexico and Spain, enabling him to become fluent in Spanish.
Clayton taught International Business Law at Texas Tech and Trinity Universities for 17 years.
Clayton’s first wife, Susan, died of cancer in 2001 after raising their six children.
Clayton’s oldest son, Fred, is a Marine.
Clayton’s second son, Sgt John Byron, gave his life to save his men’s lives in Iraq.
Clayton’s son, John Byron, earned the Bronze Star for the sacrifice he made.
Clayton, who just turned 60, has been blessed with a second wife, Leah.
Clayton and Leah have two children, ages six and two.
Clayton and Leah have also adopted three Haitian children.
