Info | Bob was previously the Ramsey County Sheriff for 16 years and retired from the St. Paul Police Department in June of 2013. He currently works as a Counter-Terrorism instructor teaching classes on how to prepare for the growing threat of Al-Shabaab and ISIS.
Bob graduated from Hamline University with a B.A. in Political Science and Government. In 1977, he became a Police Officer with the St. Paul Police Department where he later worked as the Lieutenant in charge of the Juvenile Unit and the Commander of the Burglary Unit. He was elected to his first term as Ramsey County Sheriff in 1995 where he developed several crime prevention programs and strategies over the next 16 years.
He and his family have lived in Vadnais for the past 12 years. Bob continues to coach their fourth child in local baseball and football programs.
