InfoAllen E. Weh was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of New Mexico on April 17, 2004. In this position, Mr. Weh also serves as a member of the Republican National Committee.

He directs the business operations of CSI Aviation which is engaged in aircraft charter and leasing services worldwide, and has a diverse customer portfolio that includes Fortune 500 companies and US Government agencies. As Chairman of Seabird Aviation America he leads an investor team that acquired the manufacturing and marketing rights for the western hemisphere for a uniquely capable light surveillance aircraft made in Australia and now certified for use in the US by the FAA. He founded CSI Aviation Services in 1979 after airline deregulation, and while its growth has been a business success, the fact that the company is known for its emphasis on customer service and integrity is CSI’s proudest achievement.

His service included two tours in Vietnam, active duty during the Persian Gulf War in 1990-91, active duty in Somalia in 1992-93, and active duty as the Chief of Staff, Marine Forces Pacific in 1997 from which he retired. He voluntarily returned to active duty for assignment in Iraq in 2003-04, where he served as Chief of Staff of the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team, which was tasked to rebuild the new Iraqi Armed Forces. During his military service, Colonel Weh was recommended for the Navy Cross, awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with “V” for heroism, three Purple Hearts, and five Air Medals. In addition to his combat awards, he is the recipient of the Legion of Merit, and two Meritorious Service Medals.

Mr. Weh holds B.S. (1966) and M.A. (1973) degrees from The University of New Mexico, and has served on several civic boards, the most recent being the National Advisory Board, Anderson Schools of Management at UNM. In 2002-03 he was appointed as Chairman, National Committee for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve by Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld. He also served as New Mexico Co-Chairman, Republican Victory 2000 Campaign and as an elected delegate to the 2000 Republican National Convention from New Mexico.
