InfoDennis Mehiel is the Chairman, CEO and sole shareholder of the Four M Corporation, with headquarters in Valhalla, New York. He is also the Chairman of the Fonda Group, Inc., headquartered in St. Albans, Vermont with additional executive offices in Valhalla.

The Four M Corporation, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Box USA, is one of the largest full-service producers of corrugated shipping containers and interior corrugated packaging in North America The company was founded in 1966 by Mr. Mehiel and his brother Chris in Baltimore, Maryland. The company rapidly developed a niche as the only interested and reliable supplier of corrugated interior packaging(partitions to protect glass bottle in transit) in Baltimore. Realizing the same opportunity existed in other markets, the company began to expand in 1973, adding a new facility each year for the remainder of the decade.

Inn 1977 Mr. Mehiel purchased his brothers interest in the business and (having moved back to the New York area in 1975) relocated the corporate offices to New York. More growth followed, and by 1984 the Four M Corporation had become the dominant national supplier of assembled corrugated partitions with operations in most major markets coast to coast. Additional growth during the 1980s was accomplished through the acquisition of insolvent companies in the packaging industry in need of "turnaround skills". Many of the companys personnel came to Four M either from public assistance or were in jeopardy of losing their jobs at the time Four M acquired their employer. Today, total sales are more than $500 million with almost 2,000 employees throughout the nation.

Over the last eighteen months the Fonda Group Inc., which has been in business since 1915, has transformed itself from a regional food service disposable food manufacturer, serving the institutional and private label consumer markets into a growing and significant national player in the pulp and paper industry. During this time the company has made four strategic acquisitions which have quadrupled sales, established its national presents and broadly expanded its array of product offerings. The company has successfully integrated these acquisitions while creating value through consolidation of purchasing power, rationalization of manufacturing facilities, and reduction of duplicative overhead . Annual sales are reported at $340 million, employing over 2300 people.

Mr. Mehiel, a Westchester resident, has a long record of dedication to charitable and community service. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center where he has served since 1988. From 1989 until 1993, he was a trustee of the Windward School in White Plains, one of the premier providers of education for learning disabled children. He has also served for ten years as a Trustee of the Purnell School in Pottersville, New Jersey an independent high school for girls who have not been successful in a traditional competitive academic setting. Mr. Mehiel is a past director of Family Services of Westchester and of the United Way of Northern Westchester where he twice chaired its Leadership Giving Campaign.

Mr. Mehiel is one the Board of Directors of the New York League of Conservation Voters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee (HANAC), a contract provider to New York State and New York City delivering social services to thousands of city residents. He is a Board member of the Hellenic American Political Action Committee (HAPAC) and a member of the American Board of Overseers of Barilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. He also serves on the Board of Governors of Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Mr. Mehiel was the 1996 recipient of the Ernst and Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" Award in his industry category.
