Info | Mr. Bhullar was elected to his first term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary-Montrose on March 3, 2008. On March 12, 2008, he was appointed parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Advanced Education and Technology. In addition, Mr. Bhullar is a member of the Standing Committees on the Economy and on Legislative Offices.
Mr. Bhullar holds a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Athabasca University and is currently studying law.
An active part of his community, Mr. Bhullar founded Inspire, a youth development organization, co-ordinated the Walking Hunger Away campaign in Calgary and led a team of volunteers that raised funds for the Calgary health region.
His community leadership has earned Mr. Bhullar the Alberta Centennial Medal, the Centennial Medallion and the Athabasca University Leadership Award.
