| Info | Wisconsin’s greatest resource is its people. I understand that Wisconsin’s economy is competing not only with the other 49 states, but also the world. I will work hard to ensure Wisconsin diversifies its economic base and finds its comparative advantage in the regional and global economy. Fostering innovation and finding efficiency through use of science, technology, and regionalism is critical for the future of Wisconsin.
I recognize there is great opportunity for public and private partnerships. I understand collaboration is necessary to make Wisconsin work. At the same time, state government cannot ignore its obligation to create a climate ensuring dignity for its constituents. I believe more effort should be invested in harnessing the community and volunteer spirit of the citizens of Wisconsin.
I believe I am a compelling candidate because I demonstrate my leadership, advocacy, and result-mindedness to the constituents of Wisconsin. My career, civic, and organizational accomplishments reflect and demonstrate my commitment to the advancement of this State.
