| Info | Yes, it’s true that like so many Oklahomans, I left to pursue my career after graduating from OSU. And it is true that I have run a successful business. I could live anywhere in the country, but I chose to come back home to Tulsa to raise my son with Oklahoma values, and to give back to my hometown and state, which I love and care about so dearly. I am passionate about Tulsa and the potential it holds - and it is here in Oklahoma and in Washington, D.C. where I can help our families and businesses.
When I came back home, I did not come back empty-handed. I brought the company (office opened in June 2005) that I started and all of the jobs and economic opportunities that my company is yielding to my fellow Tulsans. I brought my family because I know and believe deeply that Oklahoma is the best place to raise a family with the values that were instilled in me as a child by my own family, teachers, church, and later, my beloved OSU. My place, our place, is here in Tulsa. Like most parents, my husband and I want to educate our child and equip him with the skills, confidence, and ambition it takes to be successful. But most importantly, we want our child to give back to the community and our country. And I can say that is exactly what my campaign is based on – giving back.
