| Info | ROSS, Robert G. - Nebraska political gadfly and frequent candidate. Ross filed for the presidential preference primaries in Nebraska of both the Democrats and the Republicans in 1912, 1916, and 1920. He annoyed the state legislature so much that it passed an act banning a candidate from cross-filing.
Born in Ripley OH. Family moved to Kentucky when he was two, then later removed to Nebraska. Farmer and livery stable keeper.
