Info | Rep. Cole McNary, a Republican, represents part of western St. Louis County, primarily Chesterfield, (District 86) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2008.
Prior to joining the House, Rep. McNary worked as a school teacher, most recently for St. John Vianney High School. Following a career in the private sector handling business analysis and sales duties, he shifted his path towards an academic career where he could focus on classroom instruction in the disciplines of mathematics and physics.
Rep. McNary is a member of United Methodist Church of Green Trails in Chesterfield and the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.
An alumnus of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis County, Rep. McNary graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Aviation Management and received a MBA from Saint Louis University. He also earned a Teaching Certificate in Physics from University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Born July 10, 1964, Rep. McNary lives in Chesterfield, Missouri with his wife of twenty years, Christy, whom he met while campaigning for his father, Gene McNary. Rep. McNary and Christy have three children: Shannon, Courtney and Mitchell.
