InfoRick Collum was born and raised in the Atlanta Metro Area. After graduating from Valdosta State University in 1992, he became a Deputy United States Marshal. Rick was assigned to and began his government service in Cleveland, Ohio. So, Rick and his wife, Donna, packed up and moved north.

While working for the United States Marshals Service, Rick attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at night while working during the day. After graduating from law school, he began teaching at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Georgia. He taught law to federal agents from over 50 different federal agencies including the Secret Service, ATF, IRS, and the U.S. Marshals Service. After teaching at the Training Center, Rick served as a staff attorney to United States District Court Judge W. Louis Sands in Albany, Georgia. In 2002, he joined the Law Firm of Hall, Booth, Smith and Slover, P.C. and began the representation of Local and State government officials.

In 2004, Rick opened The Collum Law Firm, P.C. in Moultrie, Georgia where he has continued his representation of Local and State Government Officials. Rick serves as a Magistrate Judge in Colquitt County and has served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Sunbelt Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as a volunteer providing disaster relief, teaching CPR and teaching International Humanitarian Law. Rick serves as President of the Moultrie Rotary Club where he has been named a Paul Harris Fellow, a Will Watt Fellow, and a Paul Harris Society Member. He and his family are members of Autreyville Baptist Church where he serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Rick and his wife, Donna, have been married for 17 years and have two children.
