Perry and served from October 8, 1872, to March 3, 1873; was not a candidate for renomination in 1872; resumed the practice of law at Cincinnati; died in Columbus, Ohio, April 18, 1882; interment in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
