I wish to thank those that posted this bio of my great uncle Joe on this site. this is a great read for our remaining family members, This generation needs to know that after the Emancipation from slavery up until the mid to the late 1960's, The Republican party was the party of choice for African-Americans. My uncle Joe represented America and led the way for countless people to become contributing citizens for this Great Nation. I have more information on Uncle Joe if you need it
