InfoBorn in Abilene, Kansas one six boys. He was one of President Dwight Eisenhower's younger brothers. An Electrical Engineer by trade he served briefly in the Illinois State House from 1965-1967, elected At-Large when the State was forced to have all 177 Representatives run At-Large due to their refusal to redraw district boundaries in more than 50 years. He later ran for Cook County Clerk in 1966 but was defeated.

He died December 18, 1968 in his Illinois home.
