InfoMark Osterloh is a proud Arizona native. He graduated with both a law and medical degree from the University of Arizona. After a successful ophthalmology practice, Mark decided to combine his medical and law expertise and put it to use by working to implement legislation close to his heart. His personal passion as a physician has been to ensure quality of life for all Arizonans.

Mark served as the chairman of the 1996 Healthy Arizona I Initiative. He was also chairman and author of the successful Healthy Arizona II in 2000, an initiative which expands healthcare coverage to the working poor. Mark was a co-author and strong advocate for the Independent Redistricting Commission Initiative that passed in 2000.

Mark, his wife Pat and their two sons reside in Tucson. However, you can usually find Mark in Phoenix, usually somewhere in the vicinity of the Arizona State Legislature. Why? Because in 1998 Mark led the fight to remove special interest money from politics as the lead author of the victorious citizens' initiative commonly called "Clean Elections."
