Info | Phillips served as a U.S. Air Force bomber pilot for years before finishing his career at Headquarters Air Combat Command in Virginia. He served as deputy chief of weapons and tactics while attending law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach.
Upon returning to Ohio, he and his wife, Jeannique, settled in Chillicothe. Phillips started the law firm in Januray and decided to run for office in the 18th Congressional District.
Phillips would like to see stronger boarder and national security and believes his military career provides a strong background to understanding those complex issues and does not want to see a time table set for Iraq.
āI served as a strategist for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004,ā Phillips said. I have great confidence in Gen. Petraeus. Iām not in favor of placing a restraint on him.ā
In addition to his foreign policy, Phillips would also like to see more jobs here on the domestic front, specifically in the 18th district.
