| Info | From 1983 to 1986 Dan worked on the forefront of technology developing and installing solar energy conversion systems and uninterruptable power. Dan worked with both land and space based solar solutions. The technology he helped develop is the core of many solar, wind and sea based power generation systems.
As a business consultant, from 1987 to 1996, Dan worked with management to develop solutions to problems for huge companies including
Telecommunications firms: Southwestern Bell, Telefonos de Mexico, Sprint
Financial Services: Citicorp, MasterCard, Bridge Information Systems
Retail and Distribution: Edison Brothers, Ralston Purina, May Department Stores
Brewing Industry: Anhueser Busch, Stroh, Coors, Miller SAB
Dan was the Republican candidate for the U.S Congress in the 1st District in 1996.
In 1997, Dan formed, Brick Network, a company that provided internet service. Dan realized that rural areas were not getting the kinds of services available in major metropolitan areas and Dan was a pioneer bringing the internet to rural Missouri. In 2002, his company was identified as the fastest growing technology firm in this region of the country and one of the fastest growing companies in the country.
Dan sold Brick Network in 2006. In his present ventures, Dan has continued that pioneering attitude using new technology to reach farmers and rural clients with wireless technology. Serving rural Missouri, his company covers over 10,000 square miles with high speed internet service. Dan delivers high speed internet to users many of whom have no other high speed alternative. Dan has worked to bring high speed solutions to small towns throughout southern Missouri, including their government offices, fire, police and schools.
Dan is a businessman with expertise in business, telecommunications, the internet, renewable power, and solving business problems. Dan is a problem solver and that is what Missouri needs for the 73rd District.
Dan knows the 73rd District and he understands the people of this area.
Dan did not move into this area to run for office. He grew up here, went to school here, and has lived in the area of the 73rd District for all but 3 years of his life. For the last 17 years Dan has lived in Richmond Heights on Arlington Drive. Dan and his Wife met while both attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School. Dan and his wife, Suzanne, have a son, Daniel.
O’Sullivan received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – Rolla and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. In 2002, the University of Missouri – Rolla awarded Dan a Professional degree from the college of Arts and Sciences.
