Info | Guy Ouellette was a dedicated police officer with the Sûreté du Québec for over thirty-one years. Proving himself, he quickly rose through the ranks from corporal to sergeant responsible for teams of investigators into drug trafficking. He became the assistant to the person responsible for the Service of gathering criminal information. As of October l995, he was a sergeant with l’ Carcajou squad of Montreal, where he acted as a resource specialist in matters of motorcycle criminals. From 1997 to 1999, he was an advisor to the Director for the fight against organized crime, and from 1999 to 2001, he was a consultant to the Direction of criminal information as an authority on motorcycle criminals. He was assigned to the Joint Unit of Provincial Information on motorcycle criminals until his retirement in June of 2001.
Motivational speaker since 1992 and lecturer since 1995, Guy Ouellette gave more than two hundred and fifty conferences as a police officer specializing in the field of organized crime and he continues to render his expertise to this service to date. Since 2001, Mr. Ouellette is a commentator on relevant issues pertaining to organized crime with the network of information (RDI) of the Radio-Canada Corporation.
