InfoJohn Windsor was born and raised in Alcorn County and is a lifelong
Mississippian. John is married to the former Claire Droke of
Corinth. John is a graduate of Corinth High School, the University
of Mississippi and the Mississippi College School of Law.

John has been an active member of his community. In addition to
various memberships in civic organizations, John was a volunteer with
the Leap Frog Youth mentoring program and helped with the rebuilding
of churches destroyed due to arson in North Mississippi.

After graduating from the University of Mississippi with an undergraduate
degree, John began work in Memphis and North Mississippi
counseling families and companies on financial decisions that would
affect their future. As a Registered Investment Advisor, John helped
individuals and groups alike put together a plan for financial success.

Later, John sought to make a difference in a different capacity as a teacher with the Coffeeville School District in Yalobusha County, teaching 7th and 9th grade history, geography and Mississippi studies.

After obtaining his law degree from the Mississippi College School of
Law, John went to work with the Mississippi Department of Corrections
as an Administrative Hearing Officer. The primary function of this
position was to rule on employee disciplinary matters statewide.
Most recently, John was employed as a Special Assistant Attorney
General.

As a Special Assistant Attorney General, John prosecuted
on behalf of the State of Mississippi in various chancery courts
throughout the state.
