State House Representative

Patty Lundstrom is the founding Executive Director of the Greater Gallup Economic Development Corporation.

Ms. Lundstrom is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) recognized by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and specializes in Economic Development Credit Analysis, Technology-led Economic Development, Foreign Direct Investment, Business Retention & Expansion, Real Estate Development & Reuse, and Economic Development Marketing & Attraction. Since 2017, Ms. Lundstrom has presented, ‘Managing Economic Development Organizations’, to the New Mexico Economic Development Course at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM.

In 2015, Ms. Lundstrom received the Excellence in Economic Development Award from the Site Selectors Guild (SSG), related to work on the Navajo Inland Port Feasibility Study. SSG is the nation’s foremost association for professional site selection consultants. In 2012, Ms. Lundstrom received the New Mexico First Award from NM IDEA, a statewide economic development organization, which is given to individuals whose career exemplified a statewide impact on economic development in legislation, community assistance or job creation.

Ms. Lundstrom possesses over 30 years of experience in community and economic development; most recently, as owner and principal of LAMGA, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning for governmental and community organizations, and before that, Executive Director for the Northwest New Mexico Council of Governments (NWNMCOG) – a federally designated economic development and planning district by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

As a New Mexico State Legislator since 2001, Ms. Lundstrom has an intimate understanding of state government with expert level knowledge in public budget and finance, as well as the full range of public and private sector issues affecting economic development in New Mexico.

Ms. Lundstrom has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from New Mexico State University, with undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History.
