Info | Don McMorris was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 12, 1961. Don received his elementary schooling from Lewvan School and graduated from Milestone High School. After completing the Driver Education Instructional Course, Don was granted the contract to administer the Driver Education program for the Prairie View School Division.
Don continued his traffic safety career by becoming the Traffic Safety Coordinator for the Saskatchewan Safety Council. It was during these years he also took over the family farm. Always a sportsman, Don has been active in many communities during the hockey season. Don still takes the opportunity to curl, golf, or play hockey whenever possible.
Don, his wife Cindy, and their two sons, Craig and Mark, live in Regina. Cindy works as an operating room nurse, and Don supports and coaches their sons in both their academic and athletic lives.
Don was elected to the Sask Legislature in the 1999 election and re-elected in 2003. He currently holds the positions of Health Critic and Deputy Critic for Learning (K-12). Don also sits on the Board of Internal Economy.
