| Info | Jackie Clegg Dodd is the wife of Presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd. They live in East Haddam, Connecticut, and are the proud parents of two young girls, six year-old Grace and two year-old Christina. Jackie's top priority is family and making sure that her daughters grow up in a safe, loving home where good values are nurtured.
Like her husband, Jackie‘s commitment to service runs deep and has led a distinguished career in public life. In her twenty-plus years in Washington, DC, she has worked in the U.S. Congress on defense appropriations and foreign affairs; as a Senate-confirmed member of the Executive Branch where she served as the Vice Chair and Chief Operating Officer of the Export-Import Bank; and, for the past six years, as a Founder and Managing Partner of the strategic consulting firm Clegg International Consultants, L.L.C.
Jackie holds a Masters Degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Political Science from Southern Utah University.
