InfoSharif Street [Link] is an Associate with the law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen LLP [Link] where he has worked in the Government Assisted/Affordable Housing Practice Group. In addition to affordable housing work, Mr. Street's practice currently includes working with the Real Estate and Government Relations practices at WolfBlock. He is currently a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and National Bar Associations as well as a member of the Philadelphia Barristers Association, for which he served as a board member in 2002.

Mr. Street is a member of the 251st graduating class of Central High School where he served as president of the student body. He graduated cum laude from Morehouse College with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. At Morehouse, Mr. Street served as President of the Student Senate and was an Academic All-American track and field athlete. In 1999, Mr. Street graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he served as president of the Penn Law Democrats. In July of 2000, he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Mr. Street began his public career as a community activist organizing a Town Watch group while in law school. He worked for the Pennsylvania Senate, serving as the Chief Legislative Advisor to Democratic Chair of the Housing and Urban Development Committee and had primary responsibility for overseeing legislative, housing, environmental and economic development initiatives. While working for the Senate, Mr. Street facilitated the creation of Philadelphia Green Communities, the first environmental educational program of its kind implemented in a major U.S. city. He helped to found and served on the Board of Directors of Urban Solutions, a non-profit corporation created to address the health needs of traditionally under-served communities. Additionally, Mr. Street has served on the board of the North Central Philadelphia Empowerment Zone's Housing Trust Fund, and was a member of the North-Central Empowerment Zone's Community Advisory Committees for Housing, Crime and Public Safety, and Economic Development. Finally, Mr. Street served as a board member of the Columbia North YMCA.

In 1998, Mr. Street was elected as a Philadelphia County Democratic Committeeperson and was appointed to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee. He also co-founded and served as the Chairman of NextGen, a Political Action Committee supporting a progressive, moderate agenda for political change and encouraging disenfranchised voters to become involved in the political process.

Mr. Street was the national Co-Chair of Gorenet for Pennsylvania and was the Pennsylvania Chair for young Blacks for Gore. He has served as Executive Vice President of the Philadelphia Young Democrats, on the Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Young Democrats and as General Counsel to the Philadelphia Young Democrats. Currently, Mr. Street is Co-Chair of Pennsylvania Black Professionals for Kerry/Edwards and he served as a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention committed to John Kerry for President.
